Itching to visit an island paradise this year but don't want to bother with passports? The US Virgin Islands just announced its reopening date—and it's Today!  The US Virgin Islands, a United States territory in the Caribbean home to popular beach spots like St. Croix and St. Thomas, will reopen to tourists starting June 1. The islands are currently still under a safer-at-home order which requires people to wear masks in public buildings, limits gatherings to 10 people or less, and requires bars and restaurants to operate at 50 percent capacity. Las Vegas casinos will reopen on June 4

What seemed like just an idea a couple weeks ago has quickly become reality as Las Vegas casinos plan to reopen soon.  On Tuesday evening, Nevada governor Steve Sisolak confirmed that casinos can reopen starting June 4. While not all hotels will reopen, many of the big names we associate with the Strip have already promised to open their doors on the first day.  Caesars Palace and the Flamingo have confirmed that they plan to take advantage of the date by opening for lodging, dining, slot machines, table games and pool-side lounging. Caesars Entertainment also noted that several retail and dining outlets along The LINQ Promenade, including the High Roller Observation Wheel but not the LINQ itself, will reopen as well.
